The purpose of life

I believe Belinda Carlisle best articulated the purpose of life way back in 1987:

Ooh, baby, do you know what that’s worth?
Ooh, heaven is a place on earth
They say in heaven love comes first
We’ll make heaven a place on earth
Ooh, heaven is a place on earth

We’ll make heaven a place on earth

Heaven is a place where: “‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” – Revelation 21:4 (NIV)

So heaven must be full of rejoicing, laughter, and joy.

What does that mean for me? Well, it’s probably going a bit far to suggest people are going to rejoice when they read my books, but laughter and joy aren’t completely out of the question.

And there you have my purpose for writing, as well as a completely legitimate excuse to rock out to Belinda Carlisle while at the desk (as pictured here).

How to get in touch

I hope you enjoy my stories, and I’d love to hear from you if they make you smile (not so much if they don’t).
